Jahrhundert bestand in St\u00fchlingen eine j\u00fcdische Gemeinde. 1743 wurden die dort ans\u00e4ssigen Juden von F\u00fcrst Joseph Wilhelm Ernst von F\u00fcrstenberg ausgewiesen. Ein Teil von ihnen fand in den beiden Schweizer Judend\u00f6rfern des Surbtals, Endingen und Lengnau, ein neues Lebensumfeld. Weitere zogen nach Gailingen, Randegg und Worblingen im Hegau. Wenig war bisher \u00fcber die Identit\u00e4t und die Geschichte dieser j\u00fcdischen Menschen bekannt. Eine neue, im Internet auf Englisch erschienene Arbeit wirft jetzt ein neues Licht auf diesen sehr interessanten Teil der Regionalgeschichte <strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/Stuehlingen.online\/Book\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/Stuehlingen.online\/Book<\/a> )<\/strong>. Das elektronische Buch erlaubt seinen Lesern direkten Zugriff auf die archivalischen Quellen, es gibt ihnen auch Gelegenheit, ihre Gedanken zum Text niederzuschreiben.<\/p>\n<p>A Jewish community existed in St\u00fchlingen since the early 16th century. In 1743 the Jews had been extradited by Prince Joseph Wilhelm Ernst von F\u00fcrstenberg. A part of them found a new living environment in the two Swiss villages of the Surb valley Endingen and Lengnau. Others moved to Gailingen, Randegg and Worblingen in the Hegau region. Up to very recently, little was known about the identity and history of these Jews. A new study has now been published in English on the internet, throwing fresh light on this very interesting part of regional history <strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/Stuehlingen.online\/Book\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/Stuehlingen.online\/Book<\/a> )<\/strong>.
